TTMF Bereavement Support Services

TTMF has parent mentors who have personally suffered the loss of a kid and take the unique ability to provide comfort and understanding to bereaved parents. Our volunteers are trained mentors who specialize in supporting other families. If you, a family member, or a friend has experienced the loss of a premature infant, please contact united states by calling the role at (203)202-9714 or emailing us at info@ttmf.org and we will send y'all our support parcel.  You can also connect with a parent support mentor by clicking the push above.

TTMF also offers referrals to local and online bereavement support services, groups, and blogs, in improver to  memory portrait artists, therapists, burial support services, and other bereavement resources. Please keep scrolling to view these services.  Our bereavement support packages are located at each hospital. The staff at the NICU provide TTMF Back up data to whatever parent who experienced the loss of their babe.

The Cove Center for Grieving Children

The Cove specializes in helping children, adolescents, and families who are grieving the death of a significant person in their lives. Thematic programme is delivered under the direction of licensed professionals and trained volunteers.  In the Cove Family Program, families learn coping strategies to increase resilience in new means with peer back up and professional facilitation, while honoring the memory of a loved one who has died. There is no fee for the program and is offered at multiple sites throughout Connecticut.

The "Helping Hearts Heal" Program is a no-cost support education program where children meet in either the Littles, Middles, or Teen group while caregivers nourish their own grouping.  The program meets weekly for 8-weeks and is a airtight grouping.  The program is designed to support children, adolescents, and families through the death of a loved one.
